This document details the PhotoRobot Privacy Policy: Version 1.0 — PhotoRobot Edition (Public Version), uni-Robot Ltd., Czech Republic.
1. Introduction - PhotoRobot Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how uni-Robot Ltd. (“PhotoRobot”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you use:
- PhotoRobot Controls Cloud
- PhotoRobot Cloud 2.0
- PhotoRobot website
- PhotoRobot Controls Local (CL) when connected to cloud services
- any related online interfaces, APIs or content
Your privacy is important to us. We process personal data in accordance with:
- GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679)
- Czech data protection laws
- industry-standard security practices
If you do not agree with the practices described in this policy, please discontinue the use of our services.
2. Data We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve our services.
2.1. Data you provide directly
- Name, surname
- Company details
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Billing and payment information (processed via secure providers)
- Account login credentials
- Content you upload to the Service (images, metadata, project files)
2.2. Data collected automatically
- IP address
- Device identifiers
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Access timestamps
- Usage logs (e.g., errors, API calls, operations inside Cloud/CL)
2.3. Data from PhotoRobot Robots
Some PhotoRobot Robots may send technical telemetry, including:
- firmware version
- device health metrics
- motor/load diagnostics
- system logs for troubleshooting
No personal data is collected by Robots unless you intentionally upload such content.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data for the following purposes:
3.1. To provide the Service
- account creation and authentication
- processing and storing visual content
- enabling cloud workflows
- enabling CL ↔ Cloud 2.0 synchronization
- customer support and maintenance
3.2. To improve and secure the Service
- troubleshooting and diagnostics
- load balancing
- product development
- security monitoring
3.3. To communicate with you
- service updates
- billing notifications
- technical or security alerts
Marketing communication is optional and requires separate consent.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
We process personal data based on the following legal grounds:
- Performance of a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Legal obligation (accounting, taxation)
- Legitimate interest (security, service improvement, fraud prevention)

These providers help us operate our services:
- Google Cloud Platform (hosting)
- email delivery providers

- customer support systems (ticketing tools)

5.2. Legal Requirements

- administrative authority
Always within the limits of applicable legislation.
6. International Data Transfers
We operate primarily from the European Union.
Some sub-processors (e.g., Google Cloud) may store or process data outside the EU.
In such cases, PhotoRobot ensures protection through:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC 2021)
- supplementary technical & organizational measures
- strict access controls

7. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary for:
- service provision
- fulfillment of legal obligations
- resolving disputes
- enforcing agreements
Account & cloud data
Deleted 30 days after account cancellation, unless required otherwise.
Logs & diagnostics
Retained for a limited technical period, usually 30–180 days.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- access your personal data
- request correction of inaccurate data
- request deletion (“right to be forgotten”)
- restrict processing
- object to processing
- data portability
- withdraw consent (where applicable)

9. Security Measures
We use industry-standard security practices, including:
- encrypted TLS communication
- secure access tokens
- isolated storage environments
- role-based access control
- regular security audits
- Google Cloud Platform certifications (ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, etc.)
No system is 100% secure, but we continuously improve and monitor our environment.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Changes become effective once published on this page.
Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice.
